Beta Iota’s Housing Committee’s focus is to organize efforts that will result in the ownership of a Chapter Fraternity house. The committee can organize fund raising activities that will aid in the mission of acquiring the house. The Housing committee researches potential housing locations, financing, and looks at the potential operating costs of owning a Chapter house.

Beta Iota’s Mardi Gras Committee has the task of coordinating one of the Chapter’s most anticipated annual events. This committee researches venues for the function, solicits and screens potential vendors, organizes marketing and advertising as well as develop a theme for the outing.

The Reclamation Committee is charged with persuading Brothers whom have become inactive, into being financial and participating members of the Fraternity/Chapter. The committee organizes activities designed to reclaim members of the Fraternity. Activities include fellowship gatherings and networking socials.

The Scholarship Committee is charged with monitoring, selecting and awarding funds to deserving youth, through various Chapter scholarship initiatives. The committee heads or provides guidance to most Chapter driven scholarship activities. Typically, the committee promotes scholarship activities, screens potential applicants and awards worthy candidates.

The Beta Iota Chapter Social Action Committee, simply put, is charged with implementing the Fraternity's national social action programs. The Beta Iota Chapter Social Action Committee's mission is twofold; 1] to inform the brotherhood of issues and events that are most pressing in our community, and 2] to implement programs and events that in turn, empower and uplift our community. The committee's focus is education, youth and health.

The Talent Hunt Committee’s primary focus is to organize the Annual Talent Hunt event. The committee is responsible for the marketing/advertising of the event to area schools, businesses and the community. The committee also decides where the event will take place, acquires any needed equipment, and solicits judges for the event.

The Beta Iota Web Committee is charged with the development and monitoring of the Chapter's site. The committee is responsible for the site's design, implementation and on-going maintenance. The committee meets to discuss and administer any site issues, changes and or regulatory concerns. The committee also interfaces with subcontractors related to the operation of the site.
